Turquesa is a Pitbull breed, with a tall & slim physique and a cute character. She was abandonned and then rescued by CEBIAM. Thanks to the donations of many beautiful people, we managed to perform several blood tests, including a 4 Snap . We discovered that Turquesa has Heartworm disease. Her treatment has been very long ( 4 months ) and expensive. Turquesa spent 6 months in a cell while recovering but she pulled through, Thank God.
Now Heartworm free, Turquesa was able to come to the Sanctuary. She goes out every day on her walks with the volunteers who love her very much. Now we are working hard on helping Turquesa to gain weight and thrive in a happy environment.
Turquoise has a lovely character. She is intelligent and listens to commands. She doesn’t pull on the leash when walking and pays close attention to the walker. We still don’t know if he gets along well with other dogs, but this will be discovered quite quickly at the Sanctuary.
