CT: An International Collaboration of Trainers

The number of stray dogs and shelter dogs is heartbreaking.
What can be done? Finding homes, of course, but there will always be too many dogs and too few families.
By collaborating with rescue groups, ACT teaches basic behaviors (sit, stay, walk on a leash). Dogs with good training are more likely to be adopted and kept, reducing returns and abandonment.
ACT, an international collective of professional trainers, provides training and support to animal caregivers using effective and humane methods.
The free training and enrichment activities offered by ACT benefit everyone: staff, volunteers, and the community.
