Always Adopt

All the rescue dogs at the sanctuary deserve a second opportunity. They are the lost, the forgotten, the abused and the abandoned. Left helpless, unwanted and sadly on their own. Your help offers them a new chance in a caring home.
Unfortunately, there are not enough homes for all the dogs that are born every year. By adopting from a dog sanctuary, you participate directly in helping to reduce the street dog overpopulation.
In Mexico, hundreds of commercial pet-breeding facilities and even more clandestine breeders produce millions of dogs for sale in pet stores and through facebook ads. Often known internationally as puppy mills, these operations repeatedly impregnate female dogs that are forced to spend their entire lives in cages without any human companionship or relationships. These unfortunate animals often exist in intolerable environments, forced to produce one litter after the other, only to be put down after they no longer become a profitable asset to their owner. By adopting a sanctuary animal, you are making a clear statement that you do not endorse nor support such conduct or behavior.
“Adopt, Don’t Shop!” is a campaign slogan encouraging people to adopt dogs from shelters or rescue sanctuaries rather than purchasing a dog from a breeder or puppy mill.
Every time a dog is adopted, another space is made available in the shelter or the rescue sanctuary. When you adopt a dog, not only are you saving that animal’s life, but you are also opening a space for another dog’s life to be saved.

There is no greater feeling than releasing these grateful dogs into your fenced backyard and watching them run & play freely. Observing them sleep curled up contently in soft beds in your home when just hours before they laid on cold concrete floors. So many of them have never known freedom of movement or the sensation of a full belly throughout the day. Their look of appreciation will bring tears of joy to your eyes.
