Meet Shiva
Shiva is a playful, affectionate, and happy girl who radiates joy and love! While she can be shy at first, once she gets to know you, she truly opens up—revealing her sweet, loving personality. She thrives on connection and would be happiest in a home where she can run, play, and be part of a caring family.
Her Rescue Story
Shiva was rescued from the jungle near Playa del Carmen. She was small, scared, underweight, and covered in ticks. Her rescuer patiently earned her trust and brought her to safety. Fortunately, her health check and 4DX snap test came back clear—she was healthy despite everything she’d been through.
Foster Notes
Shiva currently lives with her rescuer and 8 other dogs, both male and female. She gets along with all of them and enjoys group play. Though initially timid with new people, she quickly warms up and shows her affectionate, grateful nature. Shiva is housebroken, learning crate training, walks well on a leash, and travels calmly in the car. She only barks when someone unfamiliar approaches the home, and she shows no signs of resource guarding.
Shiva’s sweet spirit and resilience make her a beautiful addition to any home—especially one filled with love, patience, and playtime.
