Take home a shelter dog

Always adopt, never buy

All the rescue dogs at the sanctuary deserve a second chance. They are the lost, the forgotten, the abused, and the abandoned — left helpless, unwanted, and often alone. Your support gives them the opportunity to find a loving, caring home.Unfortunately, there are not enough homes for all the dogs born each year. By adopting from a sanctuary, you directly help reduce street dog overpopulation and give a vulnerable animal a new beginning.

In Mexico, hundreds of commercial breeding facilities — along with many illegal or clandestine breeders — produce millions of dogs for sale through pet stores and online platforms such as social media ads. These operations are often known internationally as puppy mills. In these environments, female dogs are repeatedly forced to reproduce, often spending their entire lives in cages without proper companionship, care, or humane living conditions. Many of these animals endure continuous pregnancies, one litter after another, until they are no longer considered profitable and are discarded or euthanized.By choosing to adopt a sanctuary animal, you are making a powerful statement against animal exploitation and unethical breeding practices.

“Adopt, Don’t Shop!” is a global campaign encouraging people to adopt dogs from shelters and rescue organizations rather than purchasing from breeders or puppy mills.

Might be your friend

There is no greater feeling than releasing these grateful dogs into your fenced backyard and watching them run & play freely. Observing them sleep curled up contently in soft beds in your home when just hours before they laid on cold concrete floors. So many of them have never known freedom of movement or the sensation of a full belly throughout the day. Their look of appreciation will bring tears of joy to your eyes.
