Our sweet Betty is gently learning what life in a foster home is all about… and she’s doing really well.She lives with several other dogs, and it’s going well.

She’s a little girl who communicates clearly: if something makes her uncomfortable, she lets it be known — but never with aggression.

She can be a little possessive of her human — Betty loves deeply. She forms strong attachments and protects her bond, and that’s part of her charm. With gentle, consistent guidance, she continues to make progress every day.

Betty is very sweet.

She has a rather calm temperament.

She doesn’t bark much — only if there’s an unusual noise, and she stops right away.

She listens well to instructions.

She poops outside.

We’re still working on getting her to pee outside consistently.

Energy level: low to moderate.

 

Betty dreams of a loving family where she can finally settle down, leave her difficult past behind, and be cherished the way she truly deserves.
