Coyote has unfortunately suffered quite a bit in the past. He is fearful and timid of people upon first meeting them and in his defence may show some aggression. For example, we recommend much patience until one has gained Coyote’s trust and confidence before trying to pet and embrace him. Since arriving at the Sanctuary his behaviour has improved dramatically and he enjoys his walks with the volunteers. Coyote also enjoys socializing with the other dogs. We feel certain that in time he will make an excellent companion and will grow to be a very good boy.
